Anime is one of the places I go for imagination, emotion, humor, action, and stories that can stay with you long after the credits roll. This section is less about ranking everything and more about the series, characters, ideas, and moments I genuinely enjoy.
Sometimes another world says something about this one.
What draws me into a series is rarely one thing. It can be a character growing into themselves, a world with rules I want to understand, a ridiculous comedy that knows exactly what it is, or a story that unexpectedly lands somewhere personal. Anime gives all of those ideas room to be larger than life.
Series That Stay With Me
The shows worth returning to, recommending, or thinking about after they end. Not necessarily a definitive ranking—just the stories that earned a lasting place.
Characters & Growth
Great characters can carry an entire story. Their choices, relationships, failures, humor, and growth are often what make a fictional world feel unexpectedly real.

Fantasy kingdoms, future cities, supernatural rules, alternate realities, and everyday places made extraordinary—the setting can be as interesting as the plot itself.

Not everything meaningful has to be serious.
A story can be thoughtful and completely absurd at the same time. This section has room for both: emotional narratives and character studies alongside giant battles, strange premises, comedy, and the simple fun of finding a new favorite.
